Larkburger, a Colorado burger joint that recently opened a new location at 1904 Southgate, is applying for a liquor license.
The new restaurant at the Broadmoor Towne Center will serve beer at its newest location if the city of Colorado Springs Liquor and Beer Licensing Board approves the application at its meeting Friday morning.
“All of our other Larkburger locations offer beer,” said Chad Curley, general manager at the Colorado Springs location.
He said the restaurant does not have any arrangements with local brewers yet, but that it might negotiate with a few to get beer on offer. Culrey said he wasn’t with Larkburger when it was initially planned, and he doesn’t know why the restaurant didn’t apply or a liquor license before opening.
