Quark makes first acquisition under new ownership

Quark Inc. has bought a maker of mobile phone publishing apps, said the Denver Business Journal.

It’s the first acquisition under Quark’s new private-equity owners – but it’s not likely to be the last.

The company bought London-based Mobile IQ, which makes apps for mobile phones used by much of England’s media.
