Advertising comes to Colo. report cards

Jefferson County schools in Colorado are among schools nationwide that are allowing advertising on report cards, says USA Today.

Financially struggling school districts say that if they can’t get adequate funding from the state, then they will have to continue allowing companies to buy ads for hallways, sporting events, buses and report cards.

College Invest will appear for the next three years on Jefferson County report cards.
