Obama, pot measure could share joint fate in Colorado

President Barack Obama’s fate in Colorado – said to be one of the states he must take to win a second term – could well be tied to the marijuana legalization ballot measure also being considered in November.

The Denver Business Journal says the measure will draw out younger voters who are seen to favor legalization of the drug, and that could help the president.

Obama is on record as opposing legalization of marijuana.
