The American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado named its 2012-2013 board officers: Michael Ellsberry, MKE Engineering, will serve as president; Greg Roush, Leonard Rice Engineers, will serve as vice president; and Peter Monroe, Monroe & Newell Engineers, will serve as secretary/treasurer. Board members are: Mel Dahlberg, Bohannan-Huston; Murray McBride, McBride Engineering; and Brian Robertson, Beaudin Ganze Consulting Engineers.
Jim Whitlock has returned to an agency position with American Family Insurance after spending 8 years in their district manager position. Previously, Whitlock was an agent in Colorado Springs from 1995-2005. In the interim he has received his CLF designation and a master’s degree in management with an emphasis in leadership from The American College. His primary areas of expertise are commercial, life, homeowner and auto markets.
Tony Munger, P.E., at RMG Engineers Group was recently promoted to residential group manager for Colorado Springs branch. Munger has been with RMG Engineers Group for 12 years. He is now responsible for the supervision of residential soils investigations, foundation observations and inspections, preparations of foundation/structural designs and inspection services for foundation construction.

Maxx HD Sunglasses named Bruce Olson as the new national sales director. In his new role, he will oversee all U.S. sales teams for Maxx HD Sunglasses, including the brand’s newest collection of Major League Baseball and collegiate sunglasses. He will also help manage key accounts in all national markets.
