Care and Share is holding a one-day food drive tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to assist victims of the High Park fire near Fort Collins.
The food drive is at their warehouse, a half miles east on Constitution Ave. from Powers Blovd at 2605 Preamble Point.
All the food that is collected at the food drive will be sent to the Food Bank of Larimer County Wednesday to feed more than 3,000 people who have been displaced as a result of the fire.
Care and Share is seeking: canned meals, boxed meals, canned meat, spaghetti sauce and noodles, peanut butter and jelly and pet food.
Care and Share Food Bank is the largest nonprofit hunger relief agency in southern Colorado. The organization works with about 300 nonprofit partners to reach 100,000 people across 31 counties. Last year, the food bank distributed more than 18 million pounds of food and groceries.
