Colorado farmers are facing drought disaster

Dry weather in the winter and spring mean farmers don’t have access to water like they do during wetter years, said KUSA-9 TV.

The lack of water means the state’s farmers are facing drought, and many of them want to use groundwater as a source for their farms. However, a Weld County law prevents them from using it – causing frustration as many watch their livelihoods fade away in the fields.
