AspenPointe has activated its crisis services plan and compressed services to three areas: community crisis response, Lighthouse acute services and call center support and urgent screenings.
The move was taken because of the Waldo Canyon fire, which has caused about 32,000 people to evacuate their homes.
AspenPointe has closed its adult services at its Moreno Road facility through Friday, and moved its ACCESS Center staff to its facility on Ruskin Drive. Additional services are being offered at its Lehman Road facility. Shuttle service is available from Moreno to the two new locations, every hour.
Medical appointments will continue but will be moved to the Lighthouse on Parkside Drive. Additional services are also being offered at the Phoenix Tower, Ruskin and Lehman Road facilities. AspenPointe will transport clients to those facilities as well.
All adult clinical appointments have been canceled through Friday, June 29. If you are in urgent need, please call the call center at 572-6100.
In addition, the cafe at the Citizen’s Service Center is closed due to mandatory evacuation of the county facility. The county says it will remain closed until Tuesday, July 3.
