Leann Hemenway has been named vice president and branch manager of the Colorado Springs Banking Center for First Commercial Bank, at 115 N. Tejon Street. She has more than 15 years of banking experience and has lived in the El Paso County area for 16 years. Her focus for the Southern Colorado market will be in marketing within the community and business development for the bank. She is active with the American Heart Association and the Chamber of Commerce.

Lauren Betzler, VP of contracts and legal for Aleut Management Services, has been appointed to the audit committee of the National Contract Management Association Board of Directors. As a member of the audit committee, Betzler will engage in and oversee independent audits of NCMA’s financial records.

Five broker associates have recently joined RE/MAX Properties: Carlos Gonzalez-Brito practiced real estate in Vail and Beaver Creek from 1998 to 2006 then in Crested Butte from 2006 to 2008. He was born and raised in Santiago, Chile, until the age of 22 when he moved to the U.S. Kelly Gehrmann, originally from Texas, has lived in Colorado Springs for 14 years. She was in new home sales for Ashcroft Homes for five years where her sales were primarily in The Ridge at Fox Run, Fox Pines and Serenity Park. She was licensed in January 2012. Ryan Manning relocated to Colorado Springs in August 2011. After an established career as a CPA, Manning wanted to try a new business venture in real estate. Charissa Turnbull has joined RE/MAX Properties, Inc. as a team member with Judy Ankeney. She is focusing on customer service. Chris Card has lived in Colorado Springs for more than 10 years. His real estate career is inspired by a passion for helping people realize their dream of homeownership.
