U.S. Olympians face financial hardships

With no government support, U.S. Olympians have to find jobs that fit in with training schedules, said CNN Money.

Athletes receive no money from the United States Olympic Committee, and must cobble together income from prize money, apparel contracts and part-time work.

The USOC, with an operating budget of $170 million, offers health insurance and stipends to a limited number of competitors.
