Centura Health unveiled a new jobs and careers site to enhance the systems’ recruitment efforts.
Centura, which is the parent organization for Penrose-St. Francis Health Center, revamped its Web site to streamline the way job applicants search for hundreds of employment opportunities, while keeping tabs on the latest openings across the Centura Health network.
“Competition to find the right kind of talent in health care is fierce,” said Julie Ambory, senior vice president and chief human resources officer. “The increased functionality gives Centura Health a competitive advantage, providing a more interactive and engaging experience, allowing us to recruit and hire the best and brightest candidates in health care.”
Centura wants to keep an active pool of eligible candidates for open positions, as well as provide a valuable resource for current employees to find out about internal job openings.
The site was developed by Jobs2Web, a technology being used by more than 300 large corporations, including Target, the Mayor Clinic and Time Warner. The integration of the website’s search function allows for a more intuitive system when searching for job openings.
Job seekers can search from hundreds of positions in all areas of health care, and can save jobs, track application history and post multiple resumes.
Jobs are easier to find through the improved use of the search engine, and advance search options allow users to filter employment opportunities both by function and location. The site will also allow people to customize job alerts to receive emails on new positions as soon as they become available.
