Cantaloupes are making a Colorado comeback

Colorado’s cantaloupes are returning to supermarkets, a year after a deadly listeria outbreak was traced to a farm in the state, said Foster’s Daily Democrat.

Farmers near the town of Rocky Ford are going on the offensive – trademarking their melons and spending about $800,000 on safety upgrades to avoid a repeat of last year’s issues.
