Dought conditions inspire stricter measures by water cops
Denver is in stage one water restrictions, and is asking residents to reduce water consumption by 10 percent, said the Denver Post.
That means that someone has to enforce the rule – and neighbors are letting Denver Water know when someone in their neighborhood is violating the rule.
