DirecTV says it’s close to a deal with Viacom

DirecTV is close to a deal that will restore Viacom’s 26 channels, said Bloomberg.

The channels were removed after the two sides failed to agree on a new contract. Viacom demanded the channels be dropped while negotiations continued, and threatened to sue if they weren’t.
