Lauren Larson is the new director of the division of registrations at the Department of Regulatory Agencies. Larson comes to DORA with nearly two decades of experience in business and public policy analysis and consulting, including nine years at the Executive Office of the President, Office of Management and Budget in Washington, D.C. At DORA, she will oversee the boards that regulate professions from doctors and nurses to plumbers, electricians and cosmetologists, among many others.

Leadership Pikes Peak has added three new members to its board, and selected its board leadership for 2012-13. The new officers are: RD Trinidad, president; Kevin McTernan, president-elect; Marilue Beverly, treasurer; and Michael Johnson, secretary. Trinidad is a vice president at Hoff and Leigh; McTernan is director of advancement at the Colorado Springs School; Beverly is a CPA at Stockman, Kast & Ryan and Co.; Johnson is an attorney at the Mountain States Employers Council.

New board members are: Doug Price, George Harris and Lorelle Davies.

Ent named Todd Salzman to the newly created position of military relationship manager. Salzman is a retired command chief master Sergeant with 30-years of service in the Air Force. Salzman will work closely with Ent’s military base service centers at Peterson, Buckley and Schriever Air Force bases.

FirstBank president and CEO John Ikard was named vice chairman of the American Bankers Association Board of Directors. Ikard has served on the board since 2008 and will chair ABA in 2014-15.

BKD has promoted Tammy Rivera to senior manager and Rand Gambrell to senior managing consultant. Rivera has more than 11 years of experience working with health care clients. She provides audits, reviews, agreed-upon procedures and other accounting services to governmental and not-for-profit hospitals, mental health centers, ambulatory surgery centers and foundations. Gambrell is a member of BKD’s forensics and valuation services division. He has more than 16 years experience and provides business valuation services, forensic accounting, economic damage analysis, fraud auditing and bankruptcy and restructuring services.
