Scooter’s Coffeehouse opened a Colorado Springs location at 4296 N. Academy Blvd.
The coffee and yogurt chain has 90 stores in seven states and is headquartered in Omaha, Neb. It’s the chain’s first location in Colorado Springs. While some stores are drive-through only, the Springs location – which is open now – offers both sit down service and drive-through.
To mark its grand opening, Scooters plans to offer the first 100 customers to the new location a year’s worth of free hot, cold or iced drinks starting at 9 a.m. on its first day of business.
“We are thrilled to be opening a new Scooter’s location in Colorado Springs,” said Jay Baker, Boundless Operations President and Scooter’s franchise owner in a statement. “We have enjoyed getting to know the residents and military personnel.”
Scooters focuses on fast service with a socially responsible angle.
“Scooter’s prides itself on being environmentally friendly company and plans to reward Colorado Springs community members who share these values,” the press release said. “Our Street Fleet will be out in the community rewarding coupons to friendly citizens. Look for us on our Scooter’s scooter.”
