Groupon’s international sales slow

Groupon said its international sales slowed considerably in the second quarter, but the company met its profit goals, said the Chicago Tribune.

The company’s shares fell sharply on the news, which raised doubts about the popularity of its coupon system.

Groupon posted a net income of $28.4 million, up from the loss of $107.4 million posted for the same quarter last year.
