Some CEO pay is higher than company’s tax bill

About 26 publicly traded firms pay their CEO’s higher salaries than they pay in taxes every year, said the Chicago Tribune.

Among them, giants like Abbott Laboratories, Boeing and Motorola.

The results come from a study by the Institute for Policies Studies, which show that tax breaks for research and development, foreign-held properties and past losses eased the tax burden for the companies.
