PPWC on the road

To celebrate Workforce Development Month, the Pikes Peak Workforce Center is taking its two most popular workshops and its Ask a Career Consultant session on the road to its satellite offices. Ask a Career Consultant session will be held at each location on the same day. This is a walk-in, first-come, first-served session where attendees can ask an expert about job searches, career guidance, and other employment questions. The career consultant will be available from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. at each location.

Colorado College economics and business department presents Jacob S. Goldston, assistant professor of economics, University of South Carolina, for a talk on “Two Commitment Problems Are Better than One: Credit and Local Politics in Rural India.” The free talk is at 4 p.m., Palmer Hall, 1025 N.
