Colorado stocks: Dow adds 244 points, Westmoreland Coal up

Wall Street reacted favorably to news that the European Central Bank could help cash-strapped nations, and closed the day with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 244 points, reports the Denver Business Journal.

In Colorado, Westmoreland Coal’s stock was up more than 11 percent, the biggest gain for the week. And stocks of Forest Oil Corp. rose more than 6.5 percent.
