Al Buettner, chairman of the Philharmonic, sought out the partnership with the foundation to create the Chairman’s Challenge, with the goal of increasing support for the Philharmonic’s annual fund, which safeguard’s the orchestra’s long-term sustainability, expanding programs and increasing accessibility to all residents of the Pikes Peak region.

“We’re on course with excellent musicianship, strong management and solid leadership from the board,” Buettner said. “It’s a wonderful way to support arts in our hometown.”

  1. Amy – please note that Al Buettner did not secure the Bee Vradenburg Foundation match; he provided a significant portion of the match himself (along with Vradenburg). Thanks!
