Oil companies concerned about changes to setbacks

Oil companies are growing concerned about proposed buffer zones in Colorado, reports the Coloradoan.

A company planning to drill in Windsor said any new setbacks that increase the distance wells can be from homes could put it out of business.

Currently, the setbacks are 350 feet from a home and 150 feet in rural areas. Those numbers could change, depending on a task force recommendation.
