She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of Iowa. She specializes in not-for-profit organizations, construction and financial institutions.
Rocky Mountain Health Care Services promoted Gabriela Westby to quality assurance and compliance manager where she oversees regulatory compliance, quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Westby has a master’s degree in counseling from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from Colorado State University — Pueblo. She has been with Rocky Mountain since 2001 and was previously a program manager for Rocky Mountain’s Options for Long Term Care.
Air Academy Federal Credit Union’s Brad Barnes, vice president and CFO, has been selected to join the Filene Research Institute’s i3 (ideas, innovation and implementation) Program, which fosters the development of new ideas and innovations for credit unions. Each member serves two-years, participates in semi-annual meetings and is be responsible for piloting new ideas at their credit unions. Filene received more than 70 applications from a wide range of credit union executives.
Centura Health named two senior leaders for the Centura Health Physician Group. Paul J. Ebmeier was named chief operating officer, Centura Health Physician Group. He has 21 years of health care management experience. Ebmeier will be responsible for overseeing CHPG’s clinical site operations, implementing an electronic medical records system and working with the CEO to evaluate and improve the organization. Renae Pemberton was named vice president, strategic integration for Centura Health Physician Group. Pemberton has been serving as interim COO since January. Pemberton, who has been with Centura Health since 1998, will focus on implementing CHPG’s strategic plan and business development.
Centura Health named Maggie McMonigle as manager, external affairs, and Andrew Wineke as manager, strategic communications. McMonigle will help develop and implement integrated marketing and communications programs through advertising, web, social media, special events and sponsorships. McMonigle has more the 12 years of experience creating communications programs across a range of fields. Wineke will lead Centura Health’s strategic communications initiatives, including media relations and internal communications. Wineke has 19 years of experience as a newspaper reporter.
Travis White, PhD, has joined the board of trustees of the Colorado-Wyoming Chapter, National MS Society. White made a career in the software industry and worked for a number of leading companies, including J.D. Edwards in the Denver area. More recently, he founded Travis White Communications, a boutique consulting firm that helps businesses communicate more effectively. He is also an Adjunct Professor at University College, University of Denver, where he teaches master’s level courses in marketing and IT management.
The National Collegiate Hockey Conference named Don Adam director of officiating for the conference at the conclusion of the 2012-13 college hockey season. NCHC men’s ice hockey will make its debut for the 2013-14 season with eight Division 1 programs including Colorado College. Adam has served as one of the top NCAA Division I Ice Hockey officials in the nation for 24 seasons.
Ent Credit Union promoted Yoshiko Anspach to accounting manager. Anspach has been with Ent for more than 16 years and most recently served as the accounting supervisor. She has a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in accounting from Regis University.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of the Ozarks, and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in science and taxation from Northeastern University. She has been with the firm for 16 years. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is an active member of the Home Builders Association and the Association of General Contractors and leads the annual Christmas Unlimited toy drive for the firm.
Melody Antles, CPA, was promoted to tax manager. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and M.B.A. from Colorado State University. She has been with the firm for eight years and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Rising Professionals of the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce. She currently serves as treasurer for the Colorado Springs chapter of Newborn Hope.
