Wells Fargo and Company’s Colorado team members donated more than $1.3 million, a 6 percent year-over-year increase, to nonprofit organizations and schools across the state as part of the company’s annual Community Support and United Way Campaign.
“With many of our neighbors suffering from this past summer’s devastating wildfires and the prolonged economic downturn, the generosity of our team members continue to be a point of pride for Wells Fargo,” said Nathan Christian, Wells Fargo’s regional president for Colorado. “Year after year, our team responds with empathy and leadership by donating their time and money to make a difference in lives of fellow Coloradans. Our team members’ deep commitment to our community is the reason Wells Fargo has been United Way’s No. 1 largest corporate campaign over the past three years nationally.”
Wells Fargo pays all processing costs and matches gifts up to $5,000 per team member to qualifying schools. Company-wide, team members donated $60.5 million to 28,000 nonprofits and schools.
