ISS named top 100 job creators by Inc. Magazine

Colorado Springs companyIntelligent Software Solutions has made the top 100 “Hire Power ” list in  Inc. magazine.

It’s the first time the company’s given the award, and ISS was number 67, with 347 jobs created last year.

Jay Jesse, owner of ISS, said the company has doubled in size and has opened offices in Denver to attract more employees to the software engineering firm.

The ranking recognizes “businesses that are adding jobs and rebuilding the economy” with companies ranked by jobs created from 2008 to 2011.

Denver burger chain Smashburger was the highest-ranking Colordo company. Inc. says the company created 995 jobs. Steven Roberts Original Desserts in Denver ranked 27th, with 592 jobs, Richfield Hospital in Greenwood Village created 423 jobs and came in at No. 51. Otter Box of Fort Collins ranked 75th with 300 new jobs last year. Market For Information in Louisville creaed 240 jobs last year and was No. 92.

The No. 1 company on the list was Universal Services of America, a security firm based in Sana Ana., Calif., which created 17,330 jobs.
