Sean McCullough has been promoted to Perkins Motors, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, RAM, Business Link commercial manager. McCullough has been with Perkins Motors for three years and has been in the automotive industry in Colorado Springs for 20 years. He is responsible for small business and fleet, truck and automotive needs, helping business with financing and credit lines and offering service specials direct to businesses. He also is responsible for outside promotion and overseeing the GEM electric vehicle line-up. He has been involved with many events in Colorado Springs over the years including the first selection committee and co-presenter of the Athena Award.

Katie Carrol, the director of public relations and broadcasting for the Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado, has been appointed by Gov. John W. Hickenlooper to serve on his Identity Theft and Financial Fraud Advisory Board. Carrol was nominated by Ron Sloan, the director of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and will serve a three-year term. She will act as the consumer representative on the board, which is composed of 10 state-wide business and government leaders, including the attorney general and a number of law enforcement officials.

Elke Stroup has been named marketing coordinator of the Douglas County-based Legacy Hospice, which has recently expanded its service area to include El Paso County. The locally owned hospice provides individualized care to patients and families at the end of life. Stroup will be responsible for building partnerships with businesses to provide care to hospice-eligible patients and their families, as well as educate the community on the benefits of hospice.

Johann Klaassen has been named chief investment officer and executive vice president at Horizons Sustainable Financial Services. Klaassen was previously with First Affirmative Financial Network. He has a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s College in Santa Fe, N.M and a doctorate in ethics and social philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis. He also is a certified financial planner and an accredited investment fiduciary.
