Colo. logs 87 work-related deaths in 2011

The Colorado Health Department reports that work-related deaths increased by two in 2011 for a total of 87.

The tally, released today, shows transportation fatalities were among the top three causes of death with 34.

Sixteen deaths resulted from violence, including nine self-inflicted deaths, and 16 deaths involved equipment.
