DPS is touting its Teacher Residency Program as an opportunity for professionals who have a bachelor’s degree to jump into teaching with “clinical training.”
The program is 15 months with a one-year residency, working toward a master’s degree from the University of Denver, a guaranteed job in DPS and full tuition reimbursement.
Program coordinators are seeking 75 professionals who are attorneys, doctors, engineers, pilots and others who crave a career change and want to bring a fresh perspective to the classroom.
The application deadline is Feb. 15; and, typically, the application takes two to four weeks to complete.
