Women’s Resource Agency ditches Dress for Success, starts new program

The Women’s Resource Agency is no longer going to affiliate with the national Dress for Success program.

Instead, the local group is establishing its own program, Suit Up for Success.

The program will work much the same way: WRA will offer free interview and employment attire under its new name.

“It is with continued support from our partnering agencies that we will excel in our mission of empowering women and girls of all ages to obtain and maintain personal self-sufficiency and economic independence,” said Rachel Black, WRA’s director of client services.

The programs for job-readiness skills, resume and interview tips and job search assistance will continue.

WRA helps more than 1,000 women every year find jobs to obtain economic self-sufficiency.

Women’s Resource Agency plans a Grand Re-Opening Celebration in mid-February to show off its suiting program.
