The resort will be the host hotel of the Fifth Annual Global New Energy and Manufacturing Summit, and experts from around the world are expected to discuss key energy disciplines of science, industry, policy and finance.
Dr. Dan Arvizu, director and CEO of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, will be among the keynote speakers at the three-day conference April 14-16.
Since 2009, the summit has gathered internationally recognized leaders to discuss energy issues. About 400 participants are expected this year.
This year, manufacturing is a key issue meant to highlight the the role the energy sector can have in sustainable job creation. The summit will focus on on the emergence of national gas as a source of energy and its ripple effects throughout energy sectors and its influence for on-shoring of manufacturing jobs.
Arvizu is considered one of the leading experts on renewable energy and sustainable energy. He has briefed Congress and given stat-of-technology presentations.
