Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care named Tiffany Buranosky vice president of quality, compliance and education, and Dan Schroeder vice president of innovation and business development. Buranosky has been outpatient RN, director of PPHPC’s inpatient unit and vice president of clinical services. Prior to joining PPHPC, she had 13 years of experience in long-term care facilities, including supervision of quality assurance programs and management responsibilities. She has also served on the Colorado Center for Hospice & Palliative Care’s statewide standards committee.
Schroeder joined PPHPC in 1999 and has served as LPN at the Pikes Peak Hospice Inpatient Unit, staffing coordinator, human resources director, strategic projects analyst, and vice president of access services. He was also the internal project manager and owner representative for the Pikes Peak Hospice Unit at Penrose Hospital project. Schroeder served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps from 1988-1999 and received an MBA in healthcare management in 2006. He was recently elected to the Colorado Center for Hospice & Palliative Care board of directors.
PPHPC has elected Randy Stiles, special advisor to the president-business analytics, Colorado College, as 2013 chairman of the board of directors. Rocky Mountain Options for Long Term Care promoted Natalie Matthewson to executive director. She is responsible for executive oversight of the nonprofit agency, which serves more than 2,300 clients each year with a budget of $2.5 million and 40 staff members. Matthewson has been with Rocky Mountain Options since 1999 and has more than 18 years’ experience in long-term care. She has a master’s degree in counselor education from Adams State University and is a licensed professional counselor.
