Mail ballots go out, election is April 2

vote-button1Ballots for the April 2 municipal election are in the mail.

Voters who haven’t received a ballot by Friday, March 15, should call the City Clerk’s office at 385-5901. The election is  mail-in ballot only, and must be received by the city clerk’s office or dropped off at one of the designated sites by 7 p.m. on election night, Tuesday, April 2.

Locations for ballots are open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On election day, all the locations are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Ballots may be dropped off at the city clerk’s office, 30 S. Nevada Ave., Suite 101 from march 11 through April 2.

Drop off sites will be available starting March 14. The list is below:

-Colorado Springs Senior Center, 1514 N. Hancock Ave.

-Fire Station # 8, 3737 Airport Road

-Stetson Hills Police Substation, 4110 Tutt Blvd.

-Pikes Peak Library District, 5550 N. Union Blvd.

clerk’s office, 200 S. Cascade Ave.

-Department of Motor Vehicles, 5650 Industrial Place, Suite 100

-North Union Town Center, clerk’s office, 8830 N. Union Blvd. (also open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.)

– There is a 24-hour drop off, the secure mail ballot drop box at 1675 West Garden of the Gods Road.
