Nonprofit Workshop — Starter Toolkit

Searching for a way to keep track of donors? This free workshop will cover donor databases, features, where to find them and tips on how to use them. The class is scheduled from 8 to 10 a.m. at Penrose Library.

Photoshop: Parts 1 and 2

Learn the basics of Photoshop Elements in this two-part class from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Class is limited to six people and you must sign up for the course on March 29 as well. To register, call 389-8968.

Colorado Springs Regional Business Alliance hosts an information session about its mentor program at 4 p.m. at 102 S. Tejon, Suite 430. This is for business leaders who have applied for the program or who are interested in learning more about it. Register at 575-4329.

Sales and use tax class

Colorado Department of Revenue is hosting a tax class for contractors and manufacturers with new information on a variety of sales and use tax issues, including the liabilities businesses face when they are not in compliance. The class is from 1 to 4 p.m. in Centennial. Register at www.taxseminars.state.co.us.

Rising professional meeting

Colorado Springs Regional Business Alliance hosts an information session about its rising professional program from noon to 1 p.m. at 102 S. Tejon St., Suite 430. Each committee will discuss its work and how people can get involved. Bring a lunch. Register at 575-4329.

Credit report training

The Small Business Administration is holding a webinar about credit report training from 9 to 10 a.m. Topics include business credit reporting, consumer reporting agencies, fair credit reporting and personal guarantor.
