Dale DeMarchi has joined Memorial Hospital, part of University of Colorado Health, as a marketing strategist developing and managing marketing plans and campaigns. DeMarchi has more than 20 years’ marketing and communications experience in sectors including nonprofit, financial services and manufacturing.

Brian Newsome has been named director of marketing, communications, and public and media relations for Memorial Hospital, part of University of Colorado Health. Newsome was hired by Memorial in 2010 as senior public relations specialist and served as interim director during Memorial’s transition from a city enterprise to UCHealth. Before joining Memorial he spent nine years as a journalist at newspapers, including at The Gazette.

Kidpower of Colorado named two new board members: Robert D. Johnson is a certified public accountant specializing in forensic accounting. He provides litigation services involving economic damages, fraud investigations, business valuations, complex tax matters, dissenting shareholder actions and entity dissolutions, and is designated as an expert in federal and district courts. Kelly Kissell is a victim rights specialist for the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice. She has worked in victim assistance since 2000, including nine years with the Fourth Judicial District Attorney’s Office. Kissell earned her undergraduate degree from Colorado State University and her graduate degree from Boston College.

The Women’s Resource Agency named Melissa Marts executive director. Marts was chief programs officer at Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado, has more than 10 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, and has hosted job-training programs for Women’s Resource Agency clients at Care and Share.

Pikes Peak Community Action Agency has named John Tighe its CEO. Tighe has executive/senior level and entrepreneurial experience. He will oversee four offices, staff, expansion, program enhancement, strategic planning and fundraising campaigns in El Paso County.

Ent Federal Credit Union has named Dan Leclerc director of finance. Leclerc is a seasoned credit union executive with more than 18 years of financial services experience. He has worked for several credit unions and most recently served as the president and CEO of GHS Federal Credit Union in Binghamton, N.Y. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Southern New Hampshire University and is a graduate of CUNA’s Financial Management School and Strategic Planning Institute.

Avon representative Angela M. Garcia was named a divisional winner in Avon’s first Makeup Maven contest, an online makeup video contest open exclusively to Avon representatives nationwide. As one of 60 divisional winners, Garcia will serve as an Avon Color Brand Ambassador through 2013.

Special Kids Special Families has named Chana Kolman media relations, marketing and fundraising manager. Kolman was previously with MAXX HD Sunglasses. She is a graduate of Arizona State University. Kolman will assist in the development and community awareness of SKSF, a nonprofit founded in 1998 to provide community support and services to families who are raising young people and caring for adults with developmental disabilities and special needs.

Eddie Clubs has joined the Goodwill staffing team as an account executive specializing in job support and expansion for the construction industry. His career experience includes more than 12 years in the construction field and 10 years in sales and marketing. He is currently working toward a degree in psychology. Goodwill Staffing is a full-service employment agency offering staff searches, screening, placement and support services on behalf of top employers.

Gibson Hazard was promoted from customer service representative to loan officer at Integrity Mortgage & Financial Inc. Hazard has more than 30 years’ experience in sales, marketing and management in the real estate, hospitality and media industries. Hazard has a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in marketing and mass media from Western State College.

Terry MacRae has joined ERA Shields. She is a 30-year resident of the Colorado Springs area and has a background in the high-tech industry. In 2004 she formed a Virtual Assistance business, helping small-business owners across the U.S. with their websites, shopping carts, marketing and more; she has also been successful leading a team of representatives associated with the Direct Selling Association. She is certified through the Association of Property Scene Designers, as a professional stager.

Megan Dommer has joined ERA Shields as a broker associate in the Pikes Peak Region. She was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, and later lived in Chicago, where she became a flight attendant for SkyWest Airlines. She joined ERA after her own positive experience buying a home.

Tracie Thomas is a broker associate with ERA Shields Real Estate. Born and raised in southern California, she also graduated from college, married and began her family there. She taught eighth-grade English in a private Christian school then moved to the Colorado Springs area in 1991. She has worked in office administration and as an executive administrator in a small research and development company in Monument/Palmer Lake.

Marco and Renato Martins are new broker associates with ERA Shields Real Estate. Both were born and raised in Brazil and grew up to learn several languages including Portuguese and Spanish.
