Michael Embree, who has a history of leading nonprofit, membership-based associations, has joined the Colorado Springs-based National Strength and Conditioning Association as executive director. Embree will serve as the CEO, responsible for all of the day-to-day activities of the staff at its headquarters in Colorado Springs and reports to the NSCA board of directors.
Michelle Green has joined the Warren Management Group, a local community association management company. Warren Management has served community associations in Colorado Springs for more than 20 years. Green has 16 years’ experience as an association manager.
Brandon Elrod has been named general manager of C&C Sand and Stone Co. He has been with the company since 2006 as operations manager. He has worked in the landscaping and masonry-materials industry for 17 years, including a stint in Arizona. Elrod is an active member of the Housing and Building Association of Colorado Springs.
Matt Barrett has been named CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado. Barrett was most recently the chief operating officer at Graham Advertising in Colorado Springs. Before joining Graham, Barrett was the executive director of the Small Business Development Center in Colorado Springs for five years. He has a bachelor’s degree in business psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan and an MBA from Iowa State.
Rick Ogilvie has earned the Certified Staffing Professional designation from the American Staffing Association. He has been with ADD STAFF Inc. as a technical staffing manager for 15 years.
Ent Federal Credit Union has promoted Pamela Whiteside to supervisor of the credit union’s Westside Service Center. Whiteside has been with Ent for more than 15 years and most recently served as a coordinator at Ent’s Galley Service Center.
Jerilyn Taylor has been named director of human services at Community Partnership for Child Development. She has 10 years’ human resources experience. Most recently, she was the director of human resources at Peak Vista Community Health Centers. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources from the University of New Mexico. She has a Professional in Human Resources certificate and is pursuing a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist professional designation.
Colorado Springs Health Foundation has selected officers. They are: Jon Medved, chairman; BJ Scott, secretary; and Thayer Tutt, treasurer. The Foundation manages all funds and monies received from the lease of Memorial Health System to University of Colorado Health. It is charged with solely and exclusively focusing on health issues in the City of Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region.
Bryan Construction has named Doug Hanney project manager. He is currently assigned to the Harrison School District administration building project. Hanney has 16 years’ construction experience, previously working with GE Johnson and Nor’Wood/Colarelli Construction.
Jon Hollman has been named vice president/manager of The Bank at Broadmoor Westside branch, 3216 W. Colorado Ave. He is responsible for all functions related to lending and operations at this location. He has more than 30 years’ banking experience.
