The Downtown Partnership will host the first of what it says will be many update meetings Thursday morning from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. on Thursday May 16 at the Tim Gill Center at 315 E. Costilla St.
The Partnership, which is funded by the Downtown Business Improvement District and the Downtown Development Authority, aims to lead a downtown renaissance.
Thursday’s breakfast meeting is an opportunity for downtown leaders and organizations working on downtown projects to offer updates and get input from the community.
The first breakfast will include an update from new Partnership President and CEO Susan Edmondson, information about market research from Blakely & Company and details about the idea make Acacia Park a visitor hub the summer from Doug Price, CEO of the Convention & Visitors Bureau. City planner Ryan Tefertiller will also discuss new guidelines for A-frame signage in the public right of way.
