H+L Architecture celebrates 10th year

H+L Architecture is celebrating its Colorado Springs office’s 10th anniversary this year.

The office’s clients include K-12 and higher education institutions, health care facilities and science/technology corporations.

Most recently, H+L has provided design services for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, Memorial Hospital, Parkview Medical Center, Colorado Springs School District 11 and Pueblo School District 70.

Aventa joins national network

Aventa Credit Union has joined Shared Branching through CU Service Network, which connects credit unions from across the country to 5,000 branch offices providing members with more convenient access to their money and accounts.

Members can now use not only Aventa locations but also those of other shared branching credit unions to conduct basic teller transactions.

PPCC wins Greenie Award

Pikes Peak Community College’s Office of Sustainability has won a Greenie Award in the schools category, beating four other area schools, at Veda Salon and Spa’s Fifth Annual Fashion Show and Greenie Awards, which took place on April 28.

The college’s sustainability mission is two-pronged, with the intent of cultivating a workforce of environmental stewards while giving students opportunities for internships and real-world experiences.

Veda Salon and Spa organizes the award event to raise money and awareness for environmental issues.
