In response to the Black Forest fire affecting so many in and around Colorado Springs, Wells Fargo will contribute $80,000 to support the American Red Cross and $20,000 to help replenish food supplies provided by Care and Share Food Bank of Southern Colorado to the thousands of families, including evacuees, affected by the blaze.
“Our hearts go out to the hundreds of families who’ve been impacted by this devastating fire. We want to do our part to help our community, customers, team members, friends and neighbors who may face a difficult recovery ahead,” said Colorado Regional President Nathan Christian.
“We greatly appreciate the work of the Red Cross and Care and Share during trying times like these and we’re pleased to make this contribution.”
In addition, Wells Fargo customers can donate to the American Red Cross at 265 Wells Fargo ATMs across Colorado.
Customers will not be charged a fee for using this service, and 100 percent of the designated donations will be sent to the Red Cross.
