Banking & Finance

Brad Hallock has joined McAlpin Foster Advisors. He has 15 years of financial services industry experience, spending the past three years with MetLife of the Rockies in Colorado Springs. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in finance.

David Gardner has joined The Bank at Broadmoor as senior vice president. He brings more than 15 years of executive banking experience to his new position. He has previously held positions at Commerce Bank, Great Western Bank, Bank of America and Aviation Finance Group.

Gregory Welch has joined The Bank at Broadmoor as senior vice president. He has more than 23 years of experience in the finance industry and has worked at BBVA Compass, UMB Bank Colorado, U.S. Bank and Wells Fargo Bank.

BiggsKofford P.C. has hired Julie Terrell as an associate. She most recently worked at Erickson, Brown and Kloster CPA, where she worked in the audit department and served nonprofit clients. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Law

Sherman & Howard has hired Eric Johnson. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions transactions and bankruptcy.

John Vaughan has joined Caplan and Earnest LLC. Previously, he was a shareholder at Donelson Ciancio & Goodwin P.C. in Broomfield. He has worked as in-house counsel to public and private corporations, including Tapestry Pharmaceuticals.

Nonprofits

Citizens Project has hired Anya Arndt, a Colorado College graduate, through the college’s Public Interest Fellowship Program, which gives students interested in the nonprofit sector the opportunity to work with a variety of Colorado nonprofits.

Community Partnership for Child Development has hired three new employees.

Pam Gundy has been hired as director of finance. She most recently served as senior accounting manager for the Houston-based specialty pharmaceutical company McKesson Specialty Health.

Micah Rego has been hired as volunteer manager. She started with CPCD in 2006 and has a bachelor of science degree in education and a master of arts in teaching from the University of Arkansas.

Stephani Ritter has been hired as a human resources generalist. She has a bachelor of science degree in management/human resources from Park University, and a master of science in human resources/labor relations from New York Institute of Technology.

Julie North has joined Blue Star Recyclers as program director for its Vocational Electronics Recycling Network. Prior to joining Blue Star, she served as a fellow at the Alliance for Sustainable Colorado and served in the Peace Corps, where she was stationed in Nicaragua as a community-based environmental educator.
