CNBC blog: Colorado, entrepreneurs and downtown stadiums

Filed under: Opinion | Tags:, ,

CNBC has published a blog written by Denver entrepreneur Brent Handler, who founded his vacation destination club, Inspirato, in 2010.

Handler tells the national audience that Colorado is like Silicon Valley and calls the state one of the most fruitful places in the nation for innovation and startups.

He notes that 122 new Colorado startups raised $502 million last year, and while most of those startups are located in Denver, Handler points to the redevelopment of lower-downtown Denver and the construction of Coors Field as key attractors of the young, creative class.
