McCloskey Motors won the National Quality Dealer of the Year award by the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association.

The award was presented to Joe and Ann McCloskey at a ceremony in Las Vegas earlier this month.

The McCloskeys again accepted the award at a ceremony Thursday at their North Academy dealership.

“It’s a huge honor for our town,” said Joe McCloskey. “Of 37,892 dealers in the nation, we were selected as number one.”

McCloskey attributed the award to the hard work of his employees and to the loyalty of the community.

“Because of them, we can be number one in the nation,” he said. “We have an awesome community that takes care of its own.”

  1. I get so frustrated each time I see their ad on tv. Why would they hire salespeople that strong-arm you into buying a vehicle that you don’t want. That is what they did to me. I was forced to buy a truck I did not want, or they would ruin my credit.
