Rocky Mtn. Chautauqua
The Palmer Lake Historical Society will sponsor the Rocky Mountain Chautauqua Friday Saturday and Sunday. The events start Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Palmer Lake town hall with a movie and contest for the best period costume; Saturday at 1 p.m., there’s an ice cream social followed by a 3 p.m. walking tour of Old Town Palmer Lake and 8 a.m. Sunday at walking tour of Glen Park. At 10 a.m., there will be a service at Little Log Church.
The Sound of Music
This fully staged performance of “The Sound of Music” includes an orchestra and stars Jennifer DeDominici as Maria Von Trapp. The play is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Armstrong Hall, 14 E. Cache La Poudre St. Tickets are $10 for students and children, $25 for the balcony and $35 for general admission.
GOCA exhibit and concert
Galleries of Contemporary Art will pair its exhibit, “Visual Environments: Pattie Lee Becker and Suchritra Mattai” with its Peak FreQuency concert series. Starts at 5 p.m. with a 5:30 gallery talk at the UCCS campus on Austin Bluffs Parkway.

The Colorado Springs Utilities Board will host an open house about the study to decommission to Martin Drake power plant from 6 to 8 p.m. at the City Administration Building, 30 S.
