Pinnacol Assurance, which promotes itself as Colorado’s leading provider of workers’ compensation insurance, appointed Jon Scott associate vice president of agency and product development. Prior to joining Pinnacol, Scott served as regional vice president of sales and distribution at Hanover Insurance Group. Scott holds designations as a chartered property casualty underwriter and certified insurance counselor. He graduated from the University of Colorado.

Stockman Kast Ryan + Co. accounting firm hired Carlos Martinez as an IT manager. Martinez earned a bachelor of arts in world political economy from Colorado College and holds certifications in MCSE, Network+ and A+.

Brent Utoft joins SKR + Co. as an audit consultant. Utoft received his bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and an accounting concentration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Mary Coleman has been named provider relations coordinator for southern Colorado with Colorado Healthy Neighborhoods, Centura Health. Coleman studied psychology at UCCS, and more recently, graduated as a Socrates Scholar from the Aspen Institute. She also sits on the board of Leadership Pikes Peak.

Michael Farrell has been promoted to team leader at Cheyenne Village, a nonprofit agency serving adults with developmental disabilities. Farrell has been with Cheyenne Village 10 years and is married with two children. He has traveled the world as a member of the U.S. Paralympic Cycling Team and competed in the 2008 Beijing Paralympics.

Security Service Federal Credit Union promoted Jessica Gladney to branch manager of its Academy location, 1910 N. Academy Blvd. Gladney will be responsible for member service operations, business development and community engagement. Gladney is a graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor of science in business administration. She joined SSFCU in 2007.

Children’s Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs hired three new otolaryngologists. In the Department of Otolaryngology, which provides comprehensive ear, nose and throat (ENT) care for children, Dr. Tendy Chiang is the new lead of the pediatric otolaryngology division. He completed his education at Ohio State University. Dr. Allison Dobbie joined the new pediatric ENT unit. She completed her education at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Stephen Newton received his doctorate of medicine from Howard University College of Medicine.

Colorado Springs Sports Corp. appointed Aubrey McCoy as event coordinator and Jeff Mosher as special projects manager. McCoy graduated with a degree in marketing from the University of Wyoming. Mosher graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in education and earned a master’s from the University of Northern Colorado in sport and exercise sciences with an emphasis on sports administration.

Cindy Cartwright has earned the certified staffing professional designation from the American Staffing Association. Cartwright has been with ADD STAFF Inc. since 2006 and has been a part of the technical staffing team for three years.
