Terra Verde is an annual first place winner of local “best of awards” yearly for fashion, gift products and jewelry. Terra Verde will be celebrating with a Dzahavael Couture fashion event, discounts storewide and a week of treats, special events and giveaways.
Sally Hybl has been elected to Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Hybl, a lifetime resident of Colorado Springs, will work with her fellow trustees and foundation staff to engage the community to grow philanthropic support for Children’s Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs and across the region.
The Neumann Education Foundation in partnership with Classic Homes said 41 iPads have been purchased for first grade students and teachers at the Discovery Canyon Elementary School. Classic Homes adopted Discovery Canyon Elementary contributing $50,000 to NEF’s iPad initiative. The iPads were deployed in classrooms at the beginning of the current school year.
