Springs Fabrication acquires Broomfield company

Springs Fabrication, an engineered metal products manufacturing company in Colorado Springs, acquired assets and operations of IP Systems of Broomfield, Colo.

The Broomfield location will serve the commercial and nuclear industries by providing isolated process systems. The company will retain its engineering expertise, intellectual property and technical fabrication skills.

But since the acquisition by Springs Fab, the Broomfield location can now expand further into both the commercial and nuclear manufacturing industries.

Springs Fab is owned by Tom Neppl and was established in 1986. It’s the largest manufacturing company in the region. The latest acquisition means that the company has three manufacturing facilities in Colorado Springs, Loveland and Broomfield, specializing in energy, new technology, heavy industrial equipment manufacturing.
