Certified financial planner Steve Anderson has joined Peoples Bank as an investment professional adviser. He has more than 25 years of experience.

 

Jim Oaks joined the Kirkpatrick Bank team in the area of business development and community relations. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado.

 

Heidi Sinclair has been named vice president of lending at Kirkpatrick Bank. She graduated from the Graduate School of Banking, Jones Real Estate College and Regis University.

 

Noah Botkin, a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual – Colorado Springs, has been appointed college unit director, overseeing the Colorado Springs area. Botkin received a bachelor of science degree in finance from University of Missouri.

 

David Thomason, co-founder of Pikes Peak Chocolate and Ice Cream in Manitou and downtown Colorado Springs has moved back into his former work of marketing. The new business name is David Thomason Marketing and is focused on successful small businesses $1-15 million in revenues with a national reach.

 

Brian Young joined Colorado College as vice president for information technology/chief technology officer. Young holds a bachelor’s degree from Franklin and Marshall College and a master’s degree in public administration with additional studies in cyber-law from the University of Dayton.

 

Tim Gaffney has been promoted to senior lending specialist at Ent Federal Credit Union’s Woodland Park Service Center. Gaffney holds a bachelor’s degree from UCCS.

 

The Colorado Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau announced four women taking new jobs there.

Allison Weist was named partnership coordinator. Rio Porter is the sports and group sales coordinator. Porter has a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of South Florida.

Formerly the marketing coordinator, Niki Miller filled the position of online marketing and publications manager. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio State University.

Formerly the partnership coordinator, Denise Noble is now the marketing coordinator.
