Gentiva Celebration of Life

Gentiva Hospice will host its annual Celebration of Life from 1-2 p.m. at Mackenzie Place, 1605 Elm Creek View. Gentiva invites families to join in honoring loved ones who have died during the past 12 months. The event is free. Business Alliance Gala

The Colorado Springs Regional Business Alliance will host its annual gala at 6:30 p.m. at Broadmoor International Center, 1 Lake Ave. The evening includes cocktails, dinner, live auction, music from the Broadmoor Pops Orchestra and announcing the winner of the Business Citizen of the Year award. Commercial Space: What’s Best for Your Business?

The Small Business Development Center will host a workshop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at SBDC, 1675 Garden of the Gods Road, Suite 1107. The workshop, taught by Stanton Kensinger, Olive Real Estate Group, includes information about leasing, buying and selling real estate here. Pikes Peak Chapter, IAAP

The International Association of Administrative Professionals, Pikes Peak Chapter, monthly meeting will be held at the El Paso County Citizens Service Center, 1675 W. Garden of the Gods Road. Business Insurance Class

The SBDC will host a free business insurance class from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ent Federal Credit Union, 7350 Campus Dr. To register, visit clients.coloradosbdc.org/workshop.aspx?ekey=70330073. Taught by Pat Fitzgerald, this session provides essential information regarding basic insurance coverage necessary for most small- to medium-sized businesses. Attendees will learn how to assess which coverage they must have, as well as eliminate coverage that is unnecessary or not cost-effective. The materials include a description of ways owners can cut insurance costs, while maximizing protection.

The Military Officers Association of America will host its annual meeting at the Antlers Hilton Hotel, 4 S.
