Maxx HD® Sunglasses of Monument hired Billy Witter as director of licensed sales. Witter worked with the Colorado Rockies in the public relations department. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in journalism and technical communication.


Maxx HD® Sunglasses also hired Travis Howell as director of communications. Howell also worked for the Colorado Rockies. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sports operations management from Metropolitan State University and his master’s degree in marketing from Regis University.


The Colorado Springs Country Club hired Jonathan Peterson as executive chef. Peterson graduated from the Broadmoor Culinary Apprenticeship Program.


The Colorado Restaurant Association recently welcomed Sonia Riggs as its new chief operating officer. She begins her duties Nov. 18. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado. She holds a certified association executive credential from the American Society of Association Executives.


The Resource Exchange hired Sheila Ferguson as its new development director. Ferguson had worked with the Pikes Peak Library District and recently relocated to Colorado Springs from Memphis, Tenn.
