Kaiser to open new health care center

LoneTree_looking_NorthWestKaiser Permanente will open the doors to its new specialty center in Lone Tree Dec. 2. This is the largest construction project in Colorado in nearly a decade.

Since 2010, Kaiser membership statewide has grown 10.5 percent to more than 540,000, including 128,000 members from the South Metro Denver area. The health plan opened new medical offices in Parker in 2009 and Castle Rock in 2011.

This new Lone Tree multi-specialty center represents the next phase of the south Denver expansion of services. In addition to Lone Tree, Kaiser has a specialty center in downtown Denver on Franklin Street and another in Lafayette, which opened in 2005.

“The Lone Tree medical offices bring specialty care closer to you,” said Donna Lynne, DrPH, president, Kaiser Permanente Colorado. “If you live south of Denver and need to see an allergist, visit the ophthalmologist, have routine preventive screenings such as a mammogram or colonoscopy or even same-day surgery or minor procedures– it’s all here. We are meeting you where you are.”

Kaiser Permanente’s Lone Tree multi-specialty center is located at 10240 Park Meadows Drive. More than 300 health care professionals are employed at the specialty center, including more than 40 physicians.
