Dummermuth to leave YMCA

Dan Dummermuth, president and CEO of the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, will depart his position to take the same position at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee in Nashville. His departure is effective March 3.

The YMCA of Middle Tennessee is the seventh largest YMCA in the country, with 27 centers, more than 300 program locations and a resident camp.

Dummermuth has served the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region for more than 10 years, the past three as president and CEO.

Under his leadership, the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region entered into a collaboration with the City of Colorado Springs to manage Memorial Park and Cottonwood Creek Recreation Centers, as well as four outdoor aquatic facilities.

The YMCA Board of Directors has named Boyd Williams interim CEO effective Feb. 28. Williams now serves as chief operating officer and has been with the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region for three years.
